Why you love to travel?
I love seeing the world, visiting unique restaurants, experiencing a slice of history, swimming in the ocean, watching sunsets, capturing unique moments, living an adventure.

What are your top three favorite places you’ve been?
Soooo hard, but I think Roatan bay islands off Honduras, Amsterdam, and Paris - because Paris!
What city do you think has the best style?
Best style probably New York! New Yorkers really know how to get dressed and they’re always doing something fun.
What has travel taught you?
Travel has taught me to be more open minded. I was actually scared to go to Dubai by myself but felt so safe there - don’t always listen to things you hear in the media because it’s not always true! Also, it’s taught me to be more flexible and to roll with the punches - sometimes things don’t go as planned especially when you’re traveling and that’s ok.

I want to move to… Australia!

I have to bring my DSLR.

London! It is the most magical city.

Expression. It’s my way of speaking without using any words.

To see the pyramids in Egypt.

What are your top three favorite places you’ve been?
This is like choosing a favorite child... but just off the top of my head: Papua New Guinea, Egypt and Istanbul. All these destinations changed my perspective greatly.
What city do you think has the best style?
I feel like Tokyo has such creativity with style. The get ups in Harujuku are playful and thought provoking, and I think it carries over into the style in other areas of this incredible city.
However, I have to say Rome is my personal favorite. I love the put-together, sleek Italian look that always feels like it just naturally came together. Italians in Rome don't look like they've "tried" to be stylish, they just are born that way.
What has travel taught you?
Being fortunate enough to have many opportunities to travel has been my best education. Traveling has allowed me to meet so many people that are completely different from me and yet we always find ways to relate. Each trip expands my world view and has made me more open-minded to all that is out there. And despite wherever I am, I am always reminded how humanity is more or less the same, despite the location.

When traveling, are you a planner or more spontaneous?
If it’s a long trip or something abroad I plan ahead at least about a month in advance, but if it’s something quick or nearby it can be pretty spontaneous!

I have been living in LA for 5 years, but it’s true when people say “There’s no place like home.” So, I’ve been really wanting to go back to Bali.
What’s one item you always bring with you on a trip?
Camera! I can forget my makeup but I can’t ever forget my camera!

Where are you traveling in 2019?
I have a lot of trips planned for 2019, but my first trip is going to be to the Florida Keys. I’m excited to go somewhere as beautiful as the Caribbean but that’s in the US!
Who is your style icon?
I don’t have one specific person who’s my style icon. I like to gather inspiration from all over - travel destinations, art, Instagram and other women too!
What is an unusual or absurd thing you love to do when you travel?
I like to try and get away from the crowds and see local areas by walking away from, instead of towards, big tourist sites. I remember going to Venice years ago and it was August so the main square was jam packed. We decided to walk away from the crowds and ended up finding a really cute local neighborhood!

What is your favorite place you have lived?
I lived in many different places, I’m a modern day nomad haha I was born and raised in Mexico so there’s always a piece of my heart there but the place that I somehow feel like home is always San Diego.
In one word, tell us why you love fashion.
I love fashion because of the “essence”, I believe everyone has an essence that’s unique and makes us different from others. What I mean is that a dress is just a dress until someone wears it and creates a story behind the piece of clothing.
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
Most of my bucket list consists of traveling to places. Next on my list is attending Paris Fashion Week!

What 1 fashion item is your guilty pleasure?
I would have to say dresses! Since I’m a California girl I am able to wear them year round even in the LA “cold” weather! You can dress them up or down... wear them to parties, events, or just at casual daily stops. They are great for shoots too when you spin and get that perfect shot.
In one word, tell us why you love to travel.
Acceptance! The more you travel the more you are exposed to new cultures and traditions that differ to yours. If you are in a bubble & read/hear opinions others make on certain places & people you may end up judging harshly. If you travel you see for yourself the beauty in difference and even feel acceptance for your own personality and endeavors that may not be seen as a “norm” to society in your own country. Adventure would be my second reason!
What city do you think has the best style?
I‘m going to be biased and say Los Angeles! It’s so massive and every neighborhood seems to have its own look. Hip beach look out on the west side & Malibu, the laid back hipster style out in echo park, downtown & Culver City, to high fashion looks of West Hollywood & Beverly Hills. If you want to browse a catalog of live fashion just tour around LA County...it’s a playground for people watching!

My top three favorite places are Norway, Paris and Tuscany.

Paris definitely has the best style. It’s effortless and classic.
What has travel taught you?
Travel has taught me to be open minded as I learn about different cultures and the different ways of life. I find it fascinating how people live, dress and eat in other parts of the world. I also love learning their customs. Traveling teaches me to be patient and reminds me to stay optimistic. Sometimes travel days can be stressful, but it’s just part of exploring the world.

I get it from my moms old modeling pictures! She inspires me so much!

I would move somewhere where the sun always shines and where I can wake up to the sound of the ocean.
What’s one item you always bring with you on a trip?
One item we always bring with us is our camera. I love to create beautiful pictures on our travels and to share them with my community. I want to show my tribe unforgettable bucket list experiences to motivate them to travel more.
What purchase of $100 or less has improved the way you travel?
It costs nothing, but being able to use Google Maps is our biggest savior when traveling.

One of my dreams was to travel around the world — and we just finished checking that off our “bucket list”.
